“Every child that has a facial difference is our responsibility. If we don’t take care of that child, there’s no guarantee that anyone else will.”
- Kathy Magee, Operation Smile Co-Founder and President
In celebration of Operation Smile’s 40th anniversary, I’m biking 40 miles along the Virginia Capital Trail on Feb. 12 to support Operation Smile and make surgery possible for children born with cleft conditions.
A 40-mile ride from Richmond to Jamestown sounds tough, especially during the frosty Virginia winter! But it’s easy when you’re biking to help make life better for someone else.
And while I’m biking to help kids live happier, healthier lives, I’m asking for your help, too.
As each life-changing surgery can cost as little as $240, I’m looking to rally supporters who can sponsor my ride and help ensure kids worldwide can get the surgery they need and deserve. Any amount is appreciated and will make a difference!
