Our conference would not be possible without our student leaders! We invite current seniors to apply for a Team Leader position at ISLC 2023. If you are interested in this role, please complete the following essay questions.

Question - Required - Team Leader Scenario #1: We just finished our morning team meeting and you're on your way to meet your team to check them off and walk together to the first keynote. You and your Assistant Team Leader notice that three students are missing. Then one of your student participants approaches and states that he cannot stop vomiting and doesn't know where the nurse is. Your team is already the last team in the meeting spot as everyone else has left for the keynote. What do you do?

Question - Required - Team Leader Scenario #2: You have 15 participants in your team with 2 adult chaperones and a co-team leader. When you do your role call in the morning, three students from the USA are always late and talk during your meeting update for the day. When you ask them to stop, they talk back to you and give you attitude. They also state that it shouldn't be a big deal that they are late because sometimes you are late to team meetings in the morning. What do you do?

If you were a staff member and there were four team leaders who continuously missed calls and did not submit work within the deadline, how would you handle that situation?

Question - Required - Team Leader Scenario #4: It is day 3 of ISLC and your chaperone has barely been around. This has put extra pressure on you and your Assistant Team Leaders to keep track of all your team members. You would like your chaperone's help and to involve them in team activities, but you are not quite sure how to approach them. What do you do?
