Ever wonder if you could make a difference?

After we read the book, Wonder, by R.J Palacio about a boy that had a facial deformity a group of us from class 501 were inspired to do a fundraiser for Operation Smile. We don't want kids to be judged by the way they look. Still we understand that this happens, so we want to raise money to help children that have a cleft lip or palate get the operation that can change their lives and make them happy kids - just like us.

Amistad has partnered with Operation Smile in the past. We think it's a cause worth supporting. We hope you do too.

No size donation is too small because in the end it all adds up.

Operation Smile mobilizes a world of generous hearts to heal children’s smiles and transform lives across the globe. Operation Smile’s network of volunteers works worldwide to repair childhood facial deformities including cleft lips and cleft palates.
