About 3 years ago my oldest son Cris came home and let me know he had joined a Smile Club. He explained what the mission was and I happened to catch a paid program soon after. It was amazing to see the joy in the families and children whom were helped and I decided I wanted to be apart of this even in a small way. Well, the last 3 years have been a financial roller coaster and during the last 18 months I have been blessed with a career change as a National Trainer for Workplace Specific Spanish Training and soon to follow an Online University for Continuing Ed that will allow my family to get back on track. I am grateful to God for the opportunities we have. I have promised that for each student that enrolls for one of my courses I will make a donation to Operation Smile.
It is my goal for the first quarter of 2011 to donate enough to help 3 beautiful children regain the smile they deserve as well as volunteer during a mission trip.
I believe we should live with purpose and I hope we can help make a difference together. I
invite you to learn about Operation Smile and know that during the month of December any donations given will be matched by the Lincy Foundation up to $350,000.
