Minot State University is 100 years old and for the past 50 years, we have been educating and training the next generation of Speech Language Pathologists. As part of our centennial year, the Department of Communication Disorders, faculty, staff, and students, would like to raise monies to support 100 Cleft lip and palate surgeries in third world countries. Please join us in our lofty challenge. Each surgery costs $240. Of course, any amount is greatly appreciated.

Together, We Can Change Lives

Operation Smile mobilizes a world of generous hearts to heal children’s smiles and transform lives across the globe. Operation Smile’s network of volunteers works worldwide to repair childhood facial deformities including cleft lips and cleft palates.

I hope you'll help me bring hope and new smiles to children suffering from facial deformities.

Culminating Event

We will be collecting monies throughout the 2013-2014 school year and hope to have 100 surgeries provided by May. Watch for our culminating event in May when we will be hosting the 3rd annual "Miles for Smiles" walk-a-thon on Minot State University's campus. We hope you will join us in this event too. In years 1 and 2, our students raised an additional $6,600 towards surgeries.
