Dear Friends,

This September, myself and a bunch of fantastic San Francisco Folks will run, scrambe, swim, jump and huffing through the Tough Mudder Course in Squaw Valley, CA. While the elevation and skinned knees may be a challenge, the event will be a celebration in support of Operation Smile.  Funds raised will allow Operation Smile and their network of medical volunteers to provide free life-changing surgeries and transform lives around the world.

Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that heals children's smiles, forever changing their lives. Since 1982, Operation Smile — through the help of dedicated medical volunteers — has provided more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.

I truly hope you will consider supporting our efforts to help Operation Smile. Your contributions are vital to Operation Smile’s continuing efforts to change the lives of children born with cleft lips and cleft palate.
