ISLC 2024
We are excited to announce that our 32nd annual International Student Leadership Conference, ISLC 2024 will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia USA from July 22-28, 2024.
In 2023, our conference included more than 200 participants from 20 different countries. These superstar students learned about global health issues and how they can be a part of the solution.
Who: Any rising or current high schoolers and undergraduate students age 22 or younger by the time of the conference. Chaperones must be at least 26 years old by the time of the conference.
What: #ISLC2024 is an incredible opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills, learn more about Operation Smile and hear from inspiring speakers all while meeting new friends from all around the world!
When & Where: #ISLC2024 will take place from July 22-28, 2024, at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Operation Smile celebrated its 40th anniversary with a big call to action for the next 10 years: Care for 1 million unique patients with cleft and other surgical conditions.
The registration fee includes accommodation, meals, ground transportation to and from the airport and items associated with conference activities. It does not include airfare to and from Atlanta, Georgia, USA or the cost to obtain a visa, if applicable. Please note that ground transportation is only covered if participants arrive within the time parameters outlined in our terms and conditions agreement, conference packet and travel form.
A nonrefundable fee of $250 USD is due from all participants upon registration. The remaining payment will be requested and due by May 31, 2024, at the latest. Specifics about payments will be released to participants after registration.
